Below are some of the questions we get asked a lot, and their answers –
How Long Does it Take to Install a New Kitchen?
Every installation is different, but a standard kitchen can typically be completed within a working week (Monday to Friday). Tiling and flooring take extra days and depends on the size of your kitchen.
Do You Take Rubbish Away?
Yes, Ian’s Property Maintenance will organise a skip to be included within your quote.
Will I need to move out during installation?
The installation of a new kitchen is a significant investment in the heart of your home. Before we begin transforming your kitchen we will discuss the process with you from preparation to completion – giving you realistic timescales to achieve this. There will be some disruption compared to a regular functioning kitchen, and where possible we will phase works to provide temporary cooking solutions. We can also co-ordinate works during holidays to lessen the impact on your home life.
What Happens to my Old Kitchen?
Your old kitchen will be removed and disposed of if you have requested it. You can also consider reusing it in other parts of your home such as a spare room or the garage.
Where Should Electrical Sockets be Positioned Above Worktops?
Electrical sockets should be a minimum distance of 150mm above worktops.
What Cooker Head is best for my size of Kitchen?
The cooker head capacity should always be at least six times the room volume, whether you have an open living-room kitchen or a small, enclosed kitchen.
